Internet as a tool for the poor

I often think that internet has a great potential to understand the world,especially in the hands of the poor.One important aspect of development is to find ways and means by which we can make internet services cheaper and more accessible.

The Information Technology revolution , which is silently sweeping around the nation is making internet facility even in remore corners. Some of the States are taking proactive role in making this facility awailable to schools and colleges in their rural areas. Unfortunately, UP is lagging behind in this area. Anyhow things are changing very fast thanks to IT sector.
